Where they went for answers
Facebook groups come first for most people. They are quick, but answers are rarely dated or sourced. Landed in Penh exists to make practical information easier to find.
Results from our early audience survey. Read them as an early signal, not a statistic.

Questions about Landed in Penh
Who writes Landed in Penh?
We are a couple who first lived in Cambodia for several years, moved home to have our son, and then returned to Phnom Penh. We write from experience and say clearly when something is our own experience rather than an official requirement.
How is the information checked?
We start with official sources where they exist, link to them, and show when a guide was published or updated. Rules on visas, healthcare, education and employment can change, so always confirm with the official source or a licensed professional.
Are businesses paying for coverage?
No. We take no referral or recruitment fees from agents or businesses, and nobody can buy a place in a guide. If that ever changes, any paid listing or affiliate link will be clearly labelled.
How can I suggest a topic?
Use the topic vote on this page to tell us what to publish next. Your choices help decide which guides come first.
How can I report an error?
Corrections are welcome. Use the contact page and tell us which page is wrong. When we fix a mistake, we note the change on the article.
