What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us.
- Newsletter and topic votes: your email address and the topics you choose. These forms are being connected to our email service, so until that is switched on they do not collect anything.
- Add an event: the event details you enter, plus your name and email address so we can check details with you.
- Contact page: your message and email address, and your name if you give it. This is also how you report an error or make a privacy request.
Please do not send passport numbers, financial details, medical records or other sensitive information through any form.
How we use it
We use your email to send the free checklist and its quarterly updates, new guides, free resources and the weekly What's on roundup. We use topic votes to decide what to write next. We use event and contact submissions only to review and reply to them. Event submissions are reviewed by a person and are never published automatically. If an event is listed, we publish the event details, not your email address. We do not sell your information.
Who handles it
Our website is hosted by Wix. Form submissions (events and contact messages) are saved in Wix's content system, where only people with access to our site can read them. We keep them only as long as we need them to review and reply, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time. Our email list is run by Kit, which stores your email address and sends our emails. Each provider has its own privacy policy.
What is stored in your browser
The site stores a technical visitor token in your browser so the site can load articles and accept form submissions, and a short note of when you last sent a form, to limit repeat submissions. We do not use these for advertising.
Bong, our assistant
Bong is our tuk tuk guide on the site. Today he searches our published guides in your browser and points you to the ones that match your question. Your question is not sent to any AI service and is not stored. If we switch on written AI answers, we will update this page first to say what is sent, which provider processes it and how long anything is kept, and Bong will say so on screen.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom. You can ask us to delete your information, or ask what we hold, through the contact page.

We do not currently run advertising cookies. If we add privacy friendly analytics, we will update this page first.
